MEET THE FOUNDER & COACH
The EB17 Academy methodology has been developed from Emmerson Boyce's experience across more than 20 years in professional football, combining elite playing experience, international coaching expertise and a passion for developing the next generation of players.
As a former Premier League player, FA Cup-winning captain and UEFA A Licence Coach, Emmerson has experienced football at the highest levels and now uses those lessons to create a player centred development environment focused on improving both the player and the person.

Building a winning culture through leadership, high standards and player development.
As Manager of Wigan Athletic Women, Emmerson Boyce led the team to an undefeated league title-winning season and promotion, establishing a high-performance environment where players were challenged to reach their full potential both individually and collectively.
His approach focused on creating a positive team culture built on accountability, trust and continuous improvement, ensuring every player understood their role within the team while developing the confidence to perform under pressure.

During his time as Technical Director with the Barbados Football Association, Emmerson Boyce worked across multiple national team age groups, supporting the development of players from youth level through to senior international football.
Working across the U14, U15, U17 and U21 national teams, Emmerson helped implement an academy style development approach focused on creating consistency, improving player pathways and preparing players for international competition.
The programme focused on:
